Knowledge Management can be a game changer for any organisation if utilised effectively.
How does your organisation capture, store, share, and use knowledge?
Do your resources, practices, and tools underserve your needs? Have you encountered delays in project implementation due to difficulties in locating critical information? If you answered yes, consider introducing or revising your Knowledge Management (KM) framework, or programme.
Trust us, this is going to be an exciting journey.
Our KM specialists will help you identify and leverage the knowledge you already possess to improve your organisational culture, processes, technology, and governance. You will come to recognise the many benefits of KM, such as improved information flows, absent or minimised bottlenecks and silos, speedier project delivery, increased coordination, more informed decision making, a more participatory and engaging workspace, improved learning, increased motivation and trust, and improved overall organisational performance.
What we offer
It is important to define objectives early. Setting clear and measurable objectives and milestones will help us stay on track and assess progress in the short, medium, and long term. We will develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with your organisational strategy.
Setting objectives &
milestones
Assessment of existing
KM landscape
We will explore the current state of KM at your organisation by undertaking a thorough desk review , conducting interviews and focus group discussions with key stakeholders, and rolling out a survey if needed. The assessment will help us collect valuable insights, identify gaps, and prepare recommendations for the way forward.
Together, we will identify and map stakeholders that are key to the successful implementation of a KM framework. These may include team members with different levels of seniority and specialisations from across the department, organisation, or the industry.
Stakeholder mapping &
engagement
Development or revision
of KM Strategy
Based on the identified objectives and assessment findings, we will proceed to develop or revise a KM Strategy that serves your organisation’s needs and priorities, and is aligned with its overall strategy. The Strategy will incorporate different components of KM such as People (Culture), Process, Technology, and Governance.
Now that an approved KM Strategy is in place, we will craft a detailed Action Plan with proposed activities, timelines and responsible persons. The action plan will serve as your road map with regard to implementing the KM Strategy and achieving the defined objectives.
Development or revision
of KM Action Plan
In-person or remote
training & mentoring
To support you in the implementation of your KM Strategy and Action Plan, and the effective application of KM practices and tools in your daily work, we will design and deliver a tailored training for your Knowledge Managers and/or other team members. You can also opt for team or one-on-one mentoring, where we will work alongside you for maximised results.
If you wish to hold a one-off or set of workshops or knowledge sharing sessions with your team, partners, or other stakeholders, we will help you design and facilitate these sessions whether in-person or online. We apply participatory methods and tools to encourage engagement and exchange. We can also help you design workshop materials such as agenda, handout materials, and pre- and post-assessment tools.
Facilitation of workshops
and knowledge sharing sessions
Capturing and documentation
of lessons learned &
good practices
Using a participatory approach, we will work with your team to identify lessons learned and good practices of a project or programme, document them, and compile into practical products to be used for future programming.
To help improve and streamline your documentation, we develop different types of knowledge products – from Standard Operating Procedures, report templates, guidelines and checklists to case studies and briefs. We can also review your knowledge products, ensuring standardised language and terminology, tagging, and alignment with organisational needs and priorities.
Drafting and standardisation of knowledge products
Selection and oversight of
KM software providers
If you are looking to develop and deploy a new KM system at your organisation, or improve your existing system, we can support in selecting and supervising a chosen provider. We will translate your needs and work closely with the provider to deliver to expectations.
