Background and purpose of the assignment

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world’s largest humanitarian network. Our secretariat supports local Red Cross and Red Crescent action in more than 191 countries, bringing together more than 17 million volunteers for the good of humanity.

Through high-quality editing and proofreading, and graphic design, the IFRC Türkiye Delegation was looking to work with professional editors, proofreaders and graphic designers to produce the following products which would contribute to the IFRC’s overall positioning in the humanitarian aid sector, as well as help protect its global branding.

• New reports and other publications
• Report layout according to the existing templates
• Charts, infographics, presentations, illustrations
• Social media cards, GIFs and similar assets
• Corporate items such as leaflets, brochures, invitations, banners, roll-ups, and other products
• New year cards, calendars, notebooks, folders and bags
• Any ad-hoc requests in addition to the above

What we delivered

Consult KM responded swiftly to the requests for editing, proofreading and graphic design support from the IFRC Türkiye’s departments/teams including Communications, Monitoring & Evaluation, Information Management, Learning, Livelihoods, and others, as well as from Europe and Central Asia regional office in Budapest.

Specifically, our team performed professional editing, proofreading and graphic design of more than 19 publications for 7 departments across the IFRC. These included:

The publications were designed using the pre-approved layout and branding, and contained multiple visual elements such as graphs and charts, icons, and more.

In addition, we designed infographics Türkiye Earthquake: From Crisis to Recovery, and Branch Development; banners Ocean Viking Saving Lives at Sea; and mental health stickers for Viber and Telegram.
